Visual Strategies

This resource is a bundle of over 60 strategies. Visual strategies is designed to help students utilize previously learned strategies and reference them in the classroom setting; we always try to target carry-over.

We have provided the same resource in two different size versions; 8.5 x11 and 3×4. The 8.5 x 11 can be printed out and used as posters if you are seeing your students in the classrooms or therapy rooms.

Our students have been so grateful for this new way of sharing the visual strategies as they are working on different assignments. It also provides us with an opportunity to individualize the lesson and provide the visual prompts for the students who would benefit from a more specific level of prompting. We provide the students with the full copy of the resource so that they can pick and choose which strategy they want to use when they are in English, Global, Math, or Science class. This resource helps students to feel more independent when they are working on different assignments.
